In this episode, I share 5 ways you can help your struggling reader enjoy reading. Eighty percent of children in special education also have reading problems, and 85% of those have Dyslexia. Children with untreated dyslexia or reading problems are more likely than their non-dyslexic peers to dropout of high school and become unemployed, underemployed, or incarcerated. This is why early intervention and supports are important and parents play a major role in keeping struggling readers on track for successful outcomes.
