#080: What Should the School Do for My Child with ADHD?
Show Notes

In this episode, I share 10 important accommodations that will support your child’s learning if they struggle with ADHD.  According to the CDC, more than 6 million children in the United States have the disorder. About a third of those were diagnosed when quite young - between the ages of 2 and 5. The CDC also estimates that almost 1 in 10 children have the disorder today. That’s a much higher number than 20 years ago, when ADHD was diagnosed in just over 1 in 20 children. So, that’s why it’s so important for you to know what strategies work and what types of accommodations you can ask for that will better support your child’s learning. Keep in mind that this can be applied to both school and home environments. ADHD should not hinder your child from being successful.
